CATCH Fly Fishing Pro Staff James Cranford was on the Bighorn River February 27th and this is what he had to report.
The Rainbows have started to move to their staging areas and are feeding aggressively if you can find them.
Cranford’s Soft Hackle Baetis and Red JuJu Midges both in sizes 18 trailed behind a Wine Worm or a Beadhead Gray Sowbug, Have been where it’s at as of late.
Focus in areas about 50 to a hundred yards behind areas known for Rainbow spawning areas, in seams and deeper holes.
Also keep checking the Fishing Report for current information and flows.
